因为惊叹于江西景德镇瓷器的精美俊秀,公元1004年的景德元年,宋真宗赵恒将自己的年号“景德”赐名给这里。这是一座在中国乃至世界版图上都独一无二的城市——景德镇,千年瓷都。
Impressed by the exquisite beauty of Jingdezhen porcelain, in the first year of Jingde (1004 AD), Zhao Heng, Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty bestowed the name "Jingde" upon it. This is a unique city in the map of China and even the world. Jingdezhen, a millennium porcelain capital.
因瓷而生,因瓷而兴,泥与火的交融创造了无数令人叹为观止的艺术,成就了一个城市依靠单一手工业支撑千年的奇迹。英国学者李约瑟在《中国科技史》中赞叹:“景德镇是世界上最早的工业城市。”
It is born and thriving because of porcelain. The fusion of clay and fire has created countless breathtaking artworks, achieving the miracle of a city supported by a single handicraft for a thousand years. British scholar Joseph Needham praised in Science and Civilisation in China: "Jingdezhen is the world's earliest industrial city."
这里的瓷器充满着艺术感,青花瓷、玲珑瓷、粉彩瓷、颜色釉瓷,这里的四大名瓷色彩丰富绚丽,温润细腻。可以肯定的是,没有瓷器,世界将失去很多精彩;没有景德镇,世界将失去更多精彩。景德镇开创了历史,也联通了世界。The porcelain here is full of artistic sensibility, with blue and white porcelain, delicate porcelain, polychrome porcelain, and color glaze porcelain, the four famous porcelains displaying rich and vibrant colors, gentle and exquisite. It is certain that without porcelain, the world would lose much brilliance; without Jingdezhen, the world would lose even more brilliance. Jingdezhen has not only pioneered history but also connected the world.
