In baseball there is a saying that the more you learn and understand the game, the more you will appreciate and enjoy it.
Who enjoys baseball the most? Is it the players who compete in the field who have the opportunity to be involved with all the big and little parts that make up the whole game? Is it the fans who observe the game as it develops before them between two teams of talented players? Or, is it the coaches who participate in and observe the competition, and also analyze, teach, and transmit the legacy of the game to their players?
Having experienced the game in each of these three roles, I believe that coaches have the ultimate opportunity to enjoy the great game of baseball. But to do so requires an investment of time and energy, a thirst for knowledge, and the willingness and ability to communicate.
As you read The Baseball Coaching Bible, you will be struck by how deeply each of the contributing coaches immersed themselves into their respective chapters in covering every facet of the game. You will also be impressed by the genuine respect and love each author has for the game, as well as their sense of responsibility to share what they learned for the benefit of others.
In the Introduction, Dave Keilitz writes about the very special opportunity we have to positively influence the passion of coaches who have made the most of that opportunity, in their own unique ways. Relish this direct access and draw all you can from these great baseball minds.

Successful programs are built piece by piece to form a strong, complete whole. Any missing pieces decrease your chances to win, the Baseball Coaching Bible provides both an in-depth analysis of each critical piece and blueprints of architects who so masterfully built their own winning baseball programs.
