I came back since 2019 as I missed walking on the campus and it revived old memories. It looks really nice although a bit changed. However, taking rounds on the alleys helped me recall some old stories from the past. I was thinking of the long walks I had with friends, the conversations we had, the fast pace of going to, etc. What impresses me the most is the peace. It seems time has stopped and nature functions on its own. Time and space are physical phenomena and they are definitely important. Nevertheless, I still feel the same now while passing by those buildings and trees as many years ago. Time doesn't matter. The same refers to space. I am in another province but distance also doesn't play a major role here. In my culture we say people should go back to their roots. So I went back to my roots here which was my first job in China. It may be the same as Chinese people go back to their homes and families in the Spring Festival. 2019年后我第一次回来了，因为我想回到校园走一走，那里让我想起了很多往事。 它看起来真的很好，虽然有些变化。但是，在校园的小路上走一走，让我回忆起了一些过去的故事。我想起了和朋友们的长途漫步，我们的对话，上课的匆忙等等。 最让我印象深刻的是这里的宁静。似乎时间已经停止，大自然在按照自己的节奏运转。时间和空间是物理现象，它们无疑是重要的。然而，当我经过那些大楼和树木时，我仍然感觉和多年前一样。 时间并不重要。同样也适用于空间。我在另一个省份，但距离在这里也不起主要作用。 在我的文化中，我们说人们应该回到他们的根源。所以，我回到了我在中国的第一份工作的地方，这里是我的根源。这可能和中国人春节回家和家人团聚是一样的。 （本文是一个外国友人写给我的） #英语正强老师#​ #英语#​ #学英语#​
