High pressure, poor health, harmonious heart and kidney water
In the extensive and profound theory of traditional Chinese medicine, harmony between body and mind is regarded as the foundation of health. There is a saying in "Introduction to Medicine":"When the mind is calm, the fire in the heart will fall; if you want to break, the water in the kidney will rise." This sentence profoundly reveals the subtle connection between a person's mental state and physiological functions, as well as how to achieve the purpose of health preservation by regulating the heart. Liang Shijie's scientific research team will make a detailed analysis for everyone.
First of all, let's discuss "when the mind is still, the heart's fire comes down naturally." In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,"heart-fire" usually refers to the heat generated by excessive mental activity in the human body. If this heat is excessive, it will lead to symptoms such as upset, insomnia and dreams. "Spiritual tranquility" means that a person's mental state is peaceful and tranquil, without too much worries and distracting thoughts. When our mind reaches this state of tranquility, the mental activities tend to stabilize, the heart fire naturally drops, and the various functions of the body are balanced.
For example, modern people often face the dual pressure of work and life, and are in a state of tension and anxiety for a long time, resulting in strong feelings and problems such as insomnia and palpitations. If you can relax and calm your mind through meditation, yoga, etc., then these symptoms will be alleviated. Just like a cup of hot tea, if you constantly stir, the water temperature will only continue to rise; if you let it stand still, the water temperature will naturally gradually drop.
Next, let's look at "If you want to stop, the kidney water will rise by itself." In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,"kidney water" represents the yin fluid and essence of the human body and is the material basis of life activities. When a person's desire is too much and too strong, a large amount of kidney water will be consumed, causing various symptoms of yin deficiency and fire in the body, such as soreness of the waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus. "Desire to break" refers to reducing excessive desires and pursuits, and allowing the body and mind to return to a natural and authentic state. When people's desires are controlled, kidney water is preserved and nourished, and it can naturally rise and nourish the whole body.
Still take modern people as an example. Many people do not hesitate to sacrifice their health and families in pursuit of external things such as fame, fortune, status, etc. This excessive desire not only makes them physically and mentally exhausted, but may also lead to various diseases. If you can learn to let go and be content with happiness, you can not only reduce your body's consumption, but also nourish your kidney water, and your body will naturally be healthier.
Liang Shijie's scientific research team believes that the sentence "When the mind is still, the heart's fire will fall, and if you want to stop, the kidney water will rise" not only reveals the subtle connection between a person's mental state and physiological functions, but also provides us with a way to maintain health. In the fast-paced modern life, we should learn to adjust our mentality and desires so that our body and mind can return to a natural and harmonious state. Only in this way can we truly enjoy the beauty and happiness of life.
Of course, maintaining good health does not happen overnight and requires our perseverance and hard work. But as long as we can understand and practice the profound meaning and wisdom contained in this sentence with our heart, we believe that we will be able to find our own healthy path.
