The morning and evening clouds are a riot of colors, a splendid display. The ancients called it "Jinyun" because of its red hue with less white, hence the name Jinyun Mountain.

In the eastern Sichuan region of Chongqing, there lies an emerald valley encircled by the Jialing River, like the strings of an earthen harp, with Jinyun Mountain as one of the strings cut by the river. The Cloud Abode Healing Homestay is tranquil and serene, with every breath like a roll in the clouds. The texture of the rammed earth walls leads people into this space, with elements like logs, vintage furniture, green plants, and lighting displayed one by one, satisfying modern people's pursuit of the integration of aesthetics and nature. "Each of the four rooms has its own characteristics, and we hope that guests can experience the power of tranquility in the space they like. Starting from human care and physical perception, each room is equipped with a ventilation system, air conditioning, and floor heating, effectively dealing with the hot summers and damp winters of the mountain city."

In this southwestern hot land of Chongqing, the complete preservation of rammed earth walls is quite rare. It is not only a source of architectural creativity but also a carrier of historical memory. Perhaps we cannot fully restore a specific era, but the preservation of ancient buildings can provide modern urban residents with more reverie about time. Therefore, between the fields, in the embrace of the rammed earth walls, Huang Huang has constructed a space that combines a sense of fashion and modernity with the simplicity of nature, drawing essence from the local area, close to the true nature, and promoting healing and growth.
【土咖啡+土窑面包】是黄煌引领人们以另一种视角探索世界的方式。引人注目的夯土门面，朴实无华的“土”字，既出人意料又充满新奇。“土墙、木梁、瓦片屋顶，这些乡村自然老屋的元素，散发出一种让人放松的自然气息；我们在这里营造一个咖啡空间，也作为连接古今的纽带。
【Soil Coffee + Soil Kiln Bread】is a way Huang Huang leads people to explore the world from another perspective. The eye-catching rammed earth facade, the simple and unadorned "soil" character, is both unexpected and full of novelty. "Earth walls, wooden beams, tile roofs, these elements of rural natural old houses, exude a relaxing natural atmosphere; we create a coffee space here, also serving as a link between ancient and modern.

这个咖啡空间原本是村民饲养家禽的农舍，黄煌保留了建筑最原始的夯土墙，经过五个多月的精心改造和翻新。增加了透明瓦片的屋顶，让阳光自由洒落；定制的门窗为这个小空间增添了魔力；引入正版的中古家具和其他现代元素，充分展现了“传统与现代融合”的独特魅力。
This coffee space was originally a farmhouse where villagers raised poultry. Huang Huang retained the most primitive rammed earth walls of the building and spent more than five months meticulously transforming and renovating the rest. The addition of transparent tiles to the roof allows sunlight to pour in freely; customized doors and windows add magic to this small space; the introduction of genuine vintage furniture and other modern elements fully display the unique charm of "traditional and modern fusion."
巨大的圆形吊灯和FLOS原版黄铜质感的落地灯，不仅增强了空间的氛围感，也加大了视觉上的对比效果。而一旁手工搭建的古窑烘培面包，也让这种全新的疗愈生活美学方式得到了更深刻的体验。
The huge circular chandelier and the original brass texture floor lamp of FLOS not only enhance the atmospheric sense of the space but also increase the visual contrast. And the hand-built ancient kiln for baking bread also makes this new healing life aesthetic way more deeply experienced.

「云住」第一栋的民宿，设有四种风格迥异的客房，黄煌为每一处空间都设计了独具匠心且回归自然的疗愈生活体验。古木沉香，房间以其浓郁的木质质感，营造出一种沉稳而温暖的怀抱。设计师通过深浅不一的木色搭配，影响着住客的疗愈情绪。与木对话，木欲语，木不语谓之“木语”。
The first building of the 'Cloud Abode' homestay features four distinctively styled rooms, each designed by Huang Huang to offer a unique and natural healing living experience. Aged wood fragrance, the "Wood Whispers" room envelops guests in a rich, deep texture, creating a sense of steady warmth. The designer uses the interplay of light and dark wood shades to influence the guests' healing mood.
环绕着窗户的是一片翠绿的竹林，这也正是“竹影”这一房间名称的灵感来源。将竹海的景致引入室内，带来一份静谧与优雅，自然之美由户外流入房间的每个角落。细流的溪水声与竹林的沙沙声交织，形成天然的环绕立体声，让这个地方成为寻求心灵疗愈的客人梦寐以求的避世天堂。
Surrounded by windows that frame the bamboo forest, the "Bamboo Shadow" room invites the tranquility of nature indoors, allowing the scenery to flow into every corner of the room. The babbling brook and bamboo forest provide a surround-sound natural ambiance, making it an ideal healing retreat for guests.
墙面上点缀的小窗，如同飘渺的云朵在房间内游走。“云里”房间是一次梦幻的相遇，家具设计轻盈而柔软，仿佛置身云端。在设计细节上，黄煌精心挑选了施耐德的开关面板、威能的新风系统和地暖以及华润的艺术涂料，以提升整体的舒适感和品质。
Scattered small windows on the walls resemble floating clouds within the room. The "Cloud Dwelling" room is a romantic encounter, with lightweight and soft furniture that feels as if one is floating among clouds. In the design details, Huang Huang has carefully selected Schneider switch panels, Vaillant fresh air systems and underfloor heating, and CR Art Coating to enhance overall comfort and quality.
湖景是最大的客房，但设计师并未将其空间填满。留白与间隙的设计，让光影自由穿梭。住客在此品茗挥毫，享受片刻的宁静与闲适。
The lakeside view is the largest room, yet the designer has not filled the space to the brim. The design leaves and gaps for light and shadow to penetrate, allowing guests to enjoy tea and ink painting, stealing a moment of leisure amidst a busy life.
整个庭园划分为多个特色功能区，包括品茶区、餐饮区、咖啡吧、学术研讨室等多功能生活场所。黄煌期望这个环境能成为一个共同体，通过多元化的感官体验为到访者带来治愈系生活。此外，这里还提供了一系列定制化的手工活动、农耕体验、户外探索、自然教育等课程，从村庄文化出发，增强对村庄的感知。
The entire courtyard is divided into multiple distinctive functional areas, including a tea tasting area, dining area, coffee bar, and academic seminar room, among other multi-purpose living spaces. Huang Huang hopes that this environment will become a community that brings a healing lifestyle to visitors through a variety of sensory experiences. In addition, a range of customized activities such as handicraft workshops, farming experiences, outdoor exploration, and nature education courses are offered, enhancing the perception of the village culture.
