This summit serves as a multilateral dialogue between China and international LPs from the Middle East and other regions, aiming to better assist Chinese GPs in "going global" with their projects and bringing foreign investment "in." At the beginning of the summit, Peng Wang, Executive President of the Global FOF Association and Co-founder of the FOF Research Center, welcomed the guests and delivered a speech. He pointed out that by the end of 2024, China's 442 funds of funds (FOFs) had a total management scale of 4.57 trillion yuan, with government-guided funds accounting for nearly 86%. In 2024, the scale of market-oriented FOF fell by 37.4% year-on-year, and the industry's investment scale decreased by 35.6% year-on-year. The development showed a dual decline in the number and scale of newly established FOFs, with regional coverage expanding to over half of the provincial administrative regions, particularly with strong performance in the Yangtze River Delta. Trends include the relaxation of reinvestment conditions for government-guided funds, state-owned capital supporting S funds, and over 49% of new funds requiring their sub-fund durations to exceed 10 years. Currently, the industry faces a bottleneck where over 90% of projects rely on IPO exits, widespread fund extensions, a sharp drop in newly added unicorns to 18 in 2024, and a reduction of 810 private fund managers, leading to increased differentiation and reshuffling.

Mengxia Yang, Deputy Director of Financial and Investment Services Department of Investment Promotion Agency ofthe Ministry of Commerce,said that in recent years China and the Middle East, including the UAE, have seen remarkable growth in industrial and investment cooperation, injecting fresh impetus into the global economy. She then elaborated on three key words for China's development: innovation, openness, and stability. She introduced China's achievements in innovation, its measures for high-standard opening up, and the certainty that China brought to the world economy. Finally, she emphasized that embracing China is embracing opportunities, believing in China is believing in a better tomorrow, and investing in China is investing in the future. She also promoted the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT).

Bo Yang, Chairman of Picnova Semiconductor, gave a speech titled "InGaN RGB Epi-Wafer for Fine Pitch Micro-LED Displays," in which he introduced Picnova Semiconductor, founded in 2020, which focuses on III-nitride technology. To address the high costs and large spacing issues of traditional Micro-LED displays, the company has developed InGaN RGB single epitaxial wafer technology, achieving a super-fine pitch of 1μm. This technology significantly reduces costs and manufacturing time through full-color integration on a single wafer, enhancing display density. In 2024, the company launched samples of its single epitaxial RGB full-color wafers and received orders (with a gross margin of 95%). It plans to begin trial production in 2025 and mass production in 2026, aiming to meet the demand for high-density displays in consumer electronics, AR, and VR fields.

At the summit, the Global FOF Association released the World's Best Investment Institutions in 2024 and held an award ceremony. The list was selected by the Global FOF Association through recommendation, evaluation and scoring by investment associations in Europe, America, the Middle East and other regions.

受阿联酋国际投资峰会（AIM）的邀请，中阿投资峰会的嘉宾参加了AIM投资峰会。作为阿联酋三大国家级重要活动之一，本届峰会由AIM全球基金会发起，由阿联酋国家工业和先进技术部、阿联酋经济部、阿联酋投资部联合主办，吸引了全球近200个国家的25000多名代表参与。
Invited by the AIM Global Foundation, guests of the First China-Arab Investment Summit attended the AIM Congress. As one of the three major national events in the UAE, this summit was initiated by the AIM Global Foundation and co-organized by the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the UAE Ministry of Economy, and the UAE Ministry of Investment. It attracted more than 25,000 representatives from nearly 200 countries around the world.

4月7-9日期间，嘉宾们参加了AIM投资峰会的区域焦点论坛、中国区域专场论坛（包括“投资中国”专场论坛、“投资新疆”专场论坛、“投资广西”专场论坛），以及外商直接投资、全球制造、全球贸易、未来城市、数字经济、未来金融、初创企业和独角兽、企业家等各主题下的活动。其中，4月8日的“投资中国”专场论坛以“中国投资新势能——全球合作的历史性机遇”为主题，汇聚中阿两国政府高层、企业领袖及专家学者，深入探讨中阿双向投资对全球经济复苏的变革性作用。
From April 7 to 9, guests attended the AIM Congress' Regional Focus Forum, China Regional Special Forum (including China Investment Forum, Xinjiang Investment Forum, Guangxi Investment Forum), as well as activities under various themes such as foreign direct investment, global manufacturing, global trade, future cities, digital economy, future finance, start-ups and unicorns, and entrepreneurship. Among them, China Investment Forum on April 8th, with the theme of "New Momentum of China Investment - Historical Opportunity for Global Cooperation", gathered high-level government officials, business leaders, experts and scholars from China and Arab countries to deeply explore the transformative role of bilateral investment between China and Arab countries in global economic recovery.

近年来，母基金研究中心与全球母基金协会积极发挥行业影响力，在帮助中国企业与投资机构全球化出海、帮助美元基金募资方面做出了积极努力。在行业交流方面，通过举办中阿投资峰会、达沃斯全球母基金峰会等多边对话活动，搭建了中国与国际LP的交流平台，为中国GP和企业提供了更多“走出去”的机会。
In recent years, the FOF Research Center and the Global FOF Association have actively exerted their industry influence and made positive efforts to help Chinese companies and investment institutions go global and help GP to raise USD funds. In terms of industry exchanges, by holding multilateral dialogue activities such as the China-Arab Investment Summit and the Davos Global FOF Summit, a communication platform between China and international LPs has been built, providing more opportunities for Chinese GPs and enterprises to "go global."
