When  he  emerges  from  the bathroom she is wake,

propped against the pillows and flicking through the travel brochures that were beside his bed.

She is wearing one of his T-shirts,and her long hair is tousled in a way that prompts reflexive thoughts of the previous night.

她穿着他的一件t恤衫，长发凌乱，让人不由得想起前一晚的情形.

He stands there,enjoying the brief flashback,rubbing the water from his hair with a towel.

他站在那儿，一边回味着那每妙的时刻，一边用毛巾擦拭头发上的水。

She looks up from a brochure and pouts.She is probably slightly too old to pout,but they’re been going out a short enough time for it still to be cute.

她抬起头来，嘴撅着。其实她不再是小姑娘了，不适合撅嘴，还好他们约会没有多长时间，偶尔见到她撅嘴的样子也觉得还算可爱。

Do we really have to do something that involves trekking up mountains,or hanging over ravines? It’s our first proper holiday together,and there is literally not one single trip in these that doesn’t involve either throwing yourself off something or-’she pretends to shudder’-wearing fleece.’

She throws them down on the bed,stretches her caramel coloured arms above her head,Her voice is husky,testament to their missed hours of sleep.’How about a luxury spa in Bali?We could lie around on the sand...Spend hours being pampered...long relaxing nights...’

她把旅行手册扔在床上，把自己浅褐色的手臂伸展到头顶上。由于缺少睡眠,她的嗓音有些沙哑，‘去巴厘岛做个豪华水疗如何?我们可以躺在沙滩上，什么也不做，享受放松的长夜。

‘I can’t do those sorts of holidays.I need to be doing something.’

我受不了这样的度假，我一定要切切实实做点事情。

‘Like throwing yourself out of aeroplanes.’

比如从飞机上纵身跳下

‘Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.’
