八十年代至九十年代初在广西南宁横州市第一中学任美音教学（美术与音乐）。九十年代末到广州书画涵授学院进修，各画种类及书法都广泛地涉猎学习，毕业后就长住在海珠区某个社区进行居委会里的墙报及文艺宣传工作，退休后还在本地进行个体私教学生的书画工作到至今。
“艺术无象可寻”。真正的艺术家，同时也应该是一位思想家，对于美学，艺术都应有自己的观念和态度，万千气象跃然方寸之间。观张老师的作品，传统的渊源和脉络显得很清晰。其作品通篇笔致工稳，使转得度，写得更是流畅逸美，放纵合度，可以看出，作者在书法一途，是相当下了工夫的。
张跃丽老师的作品无论是笔墨意境还是结构布局，都充满她个人对于艺术的独到理解。其作品毫无做作之态，完全妙趣天成。作品字与字之间端庄、细致、严整，收笔很有特色，字字有来源，尽合古法。透出一种潇酒飘逸的韵味。显见作者所阅已多、已入正门。整体风格浑朴高迈，点画内敛，平实中寓巧意，也可以看出作者对笔锋的运动具有十分熟练的驾驭能力，行笔快慢的变化协调关系也处理得比较恰当。

I am currently a member of the Central Government Calligraphers Association, a director of the Chinese Popular Literature and Art Research Association, an art researcher at the Chinese Oriental Culture Research Association, and a specially invited mentor for the "Beautiful China" program on the Global Tourism Channel. From the 1980s to the early 1990s, I worked as an art and music teacher at Hengzhou No.1 Middle School in Nanning, Guangxi. In the late 1990s, he went to Guangzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy for further studies, and extensively studied various types of paintings and calligraphy. After graduation, he lived in a community in Haizhu District and worked as a poster and art promoter in the neighborhood committee. After retirement, he also taught individual students calligraphy and painting in the local area until now.
