Basel gallerists Ernst Beyeler, Trudy Bruckner, and Balz Schilt created an international art fair that became a famous success in the early 1970s. More than 16,000 visitors attended the inaugural show featuring 90 galleries and 30 publishers from 10 countries.
Nowadays, it is a globally recognized platform for international art exchange. Held annually in Hong Kong, Basel, and Miami Beach, it showcases the highest level of contemporary art. Through the continued expansion of its digital program and other initiatives, it continues to break new ground in the art fair paradigm.
March 2024 marks Art Basel's 11th year in Hong Kong and features a total of 242 galleries. The galleries hail from 40 countries across different continents, with more than half of them operating exhibition spaces in greater Asia, including 35 international galleries that have opened doors in China.
Art Basel Hong Kong is set to return to its pre-pandemic scale in the upcoming edition in March 2024.

teamLab exhibition is part of the Art@Harbour 2024.
康乐及文化事务署与国际艺术团队teamLab合作打造的“teamLab：光涟”展览，在添马公园和中西区海滨长廊（中环段）举行，展示数百个色彩缤纷的发光蛋形装置艺术。会随着与观众的互动而变换颜色和音效，而园内数十棵树木也会与它们互相呼应，变换光色与音调。展品将遍布添马公园草地，并延伸至维多利亚港海面，展现出五光十色的维港。

Formerly Nan Fung Cotton Mills, it was the cornerstone of the historical Nan Fung Textiles Limited during Hong Kong’s manufacturingheyday. It is the site for many exhibitions, and community events, and houses everything from tech-style start-ups to local shops, artisanal cafes, bars and restaurants, andCHAT (Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile),a non-profit art centre that hosts exhibitions and cultural activities and interweaves textile arts, history and science.

A gallery housed in a Grade III pre-WWII traditional tong lau buildingthat has been restored, you can still see details of its past — the ‘Shanghai plaster’ exterior, wrought iron window frames, hand-painted tiles, and terrazzo floors. The five-story building dedicates each floor to different exhibitions by unconventional artists.
